Usually one of my favourite places to go, however today I went and was greeted by a member of staff I did not recognise, he proceeded to tell us that there were no seats available when there clearly was at least 4 tables that were...empty and no one at the bar. It was probably the most empty I’ve ever seen it. We proceeded to ask whether the tables with no on sitting on them were free and he kept on saying “if I say there are no seats there are no seats”. This staff member continued to be passive aggressive until we left. Would recommend this pub but evidently this staff member was more concerned with doing as little work as possible than his job.
for the first time in the last time. it is quite small, but great decor and friendly staff. I didn't eat there, but I saw others eat and it looked really nice. only critique was the music a bit too loud as it got a little later...(although this is perhaps the coz I get old, haha) but the style simply did not correspond to the place (or the majority of people who in) at all. it would work better with more indie/alternative music :o)
was not happy with eating. I ordered a huh mozzarella panini, and received a badly made simple panini, missing in the Pesto department. I also have what claims to be a wood fired of garlic broth. I received a baguette that had no taste of a garlic. the personal. was beautiful and beautiful ambiente, but would not recommend eating, will not come back!
very quirky dog friendly pub, with very welcoming staff. there is so much to see in the crazy but curated decoration at this place. we're coming back. note that we have also been drawn through the plant-based menu, but not tried to eat.
