Amarit Thai Restaurant

I like Penang Curry Chicken, no matter where I go any place naturally has their own unique twist, but I almost always like all Pnang Curry Chicken so I went ahead and ordered it at Amrit Thai was never there. The first problem was that they were not even ready to consider fried rice instead of white rice, although I had offered to pay extra, they insisted that I could not do it without ordering fried rice on the side and getting both white and fried rice. Second, the meal was absolutely terrible I am quite sure basil is included in every recipe of Pnang Curry Chicken that I could taste no basil in fact there was almost no taste what the chicken was hard and chew and I stopped the chicken aft...

Tofu and veggie pad Thai tasted mostly like baby corn, and the tofu was extremely soft with a weird breading that didn?t work for me. Tofu was flavorless. Chicken Panang curry was ok. We did ask for mild spice on both which at most Thai places still has flavor but not as much spice. Here I guess it means mild flavor because both were bland. The fried spring rolls were these weird massive rolls of solid pork with a weird tempura breading. They were probably twice the diameter of a typical fried spring roll. Overall not the worst Thai I?ve ever had but definitely wasn?t great. Hopefully it was just an off night.

It was very well decorated and a very clean restaurant. The food was good as well as the service. Prices were but the menu offered some better than average options.

My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner! The sexy man roll calamari were our favorites! Service was also great!
