We discovered this restaurant in the first years that we returned during the week of January the hotel and the restaurant have an unusual history that I invite you to discover during the reading of the map at the restaurant. the welcome is friendly and warm. the decoration is rustic and delicious. a varied menu, traditional French cuisine and local specialties. We were still very satisfied and had lunch at the hotel twice this week. I recommend this address. well maintained and good quality kitchen and high quality ratio.
They have really nice and pleasurable interior but, service was extremely slow. We came half an hour before kitchen was open,but waitress told us we can have a drink in a meantime. We had to wait more than 30 min, to order that drink. Wine came in dirty glass! Food was also relatively bad, steak was average, fries came without salt, but there was no salt o the table. Burger was raw at some places, on the other places it was burned, alongside with partly burned bun.
The restaurant in located right on the border so one part of it is in Switzerlant and another in France. Actually there are two restaurans a brasserie and a gourmand restaurant, though the cuisine/kitchen may be the same. The gourmand part is open only for dinner. Beet was great. Friendly servise. Overall a historical place worth a visit. Just 45 minutes of a drive through beautigul countryside from geneva.
a good cuisine if you like cheese. the staff is very kind, helpful and in small care. if the cheese consumption is problematic, the staff offers other products. prices are correct, the impeccable service.
