Co Hue (auntie hue) is the best! I am viet (as you can probably tell by my last name) and it's really hard to find good genuine banh mi amongst so many stores now due to it trending. Ba le used to be my family's favorite go to spot but I always felt disgustingly gross after consuming anything from them. Though ba le has all the rave reviews, Banh Mi Boston is the real hole in the wall. Her mom and pop shop might have limited offerings but she'll honestly make anything if you ask for it in advance or if she has the ingredients on hand! On the plus side, I also don't get sick from her banh mi. Which makes me want to get two of everything!I will say, her banh mi hits the spot but isn't somethin...

First time getting banh mi in Boston and, coming from San Jose, the bar is high for viet food. I was really excited to see bot chien on the menu, since it's not a super well known dish! Ordered through Yelp's online ordering and it was ready for pickup within 5 minutes. Parking is street parking only but took less than 2 minutes to find a spot on a Saturday afternoon. All the food was pretty good! i do wish the sauce for the bot chien were a bit stronger, and that they put Maggie sauce on the banh mi like most places on the west coast do, but it definitely satisfied my cravings!

Good food. Reasonable price.I ordered the tofu fried rice, which to my delight was very clean tasting and not overly greasy.It’s a takeout place so don’t expect luxurious seating.Service was a bit slow but only because they’re prepping for lunar new year orders so I’ve given them the benefit of the doubt on that.

Little shop, but tables inside so you can order some food to eat. Very busy for take out, great prices, great tasting food. Had the banh mi, lemongrass porkchop rice and the bun bo hue. All of these did not disappoint, will be back again!
