This bar is in an enviable position overlooking Playa Grande beach, and sits just at the beach end of the vast Fariones Hotel complex. Prices for food and drinks reasonable, although the cocktails are acceptable rather than amazing. They serve a variety of light snacks, and it makes for a good post beach venue. The biggest problem here (apart from the 1 Euro charge to use the bathroom! is the awful loud music they play from the speakers all day it really is horrendous, and possibly the worst in PDC! It makes sitting here for any length of time a very torturous experience. My advice would be to either have no music at all, or play something much more relaxing and generic that everyone can enj...
We popped in late afternoon for cocktails, two of which were Coco Locos, (coconut and rum flavoured drinks) When the drinks came the Coco Locos were large bowl type glasses two thirds full of pineapple juice with sour tasting milk froth floating on top. When we, politely, asked the manager if he 'd bought us the right drinks he immediately flew into a rage, snatched the drinks away and dramatically poured them down the sink. He then paraded up and down waving his arms shouting 'do you want more drinks without the rum ' ? Nothing to do with our original comment! Reading through the other reviews it looks like others have suffered his rediulous outbursts. Be warned!
Visited for a cocktail and some food. Nice spot but spoilt by extremely rude staff. There were 8 of us who obviously after visiting for drinks and food needed the toilet. Apparently we would have got the euro back but did not have that many euros to start with to pay for toilet. After spending over one hundred euros the staff played up when we asked if they could open the gate for us to use the toilet. My son (a child slipped under the barrier as was desperate after eating and drinking on the premises and when exiting was clapped and called a d head by the waitress. Tip for if you visit make sure you arm yourself with euro coins !!!
This is a lovely little bar right on the beach behind the Fariones. It's true it could probably do with being freshened up but to be honest I hardly noticed the building with the gorgeous sea views on the other side. To make our visit even better we got to meet Vince (and Wendy! while we were there. He is a really genuine fantastic guy and it was an absolute pleasure to meet him. Right on the beach with fabulous views across the ocean. Great place for watching the sun starting to set. €1 to use the loo but you get a little receipt to use back against your bill. Reasonably priced drinks
Muy bonito, en la misma playa pero sin llenar los pies si no quieres. Podrían poner más a este tipo en la zona. No había nada más cerca. Fácil comida d bar, rico y económico
