Cafe Du Nord Sommieres

Language problems were no doubt the cause of me not getting the 3 course 13 Euro Menu du Jour which I ordered. They only brought one of my courses and charged me 10,50 Euros on an a la carte basis.. It was too late in the day to claim the other two courses and pay an additional 2,50 euros, The worst part was that the Entrecote they served me was full of gristle, tough and tasteless! I left half the so called steak and walked back to my car shaking my head, What a flop of a lunch.

My wife and I, generally visit Cafe Du Nord after a cycle ride. The Patron is very friendly and always happy to make conversation. We enjoy a couple of beers, filled baguettes, some chips/fries and coffee. We sit by the river and watch the world go by. Eventually, we leave to cycle up a steep hill. Would I go back? We regularly do!

Good location to have a drink but not very special. Waiter was friendly enough but a bit scruffy and unkempt. Drinks were all fine and prices not too bad for height on summer in Sommieres.
