The place is covered in memorabilia of Argentinian football as the owner is an ex Argentinian International player. The pizza I had was really nice. The rump steak my hubby had was around 12ounces in size and the most expensive on the menu at 24euro. He says that it was cooked to perfection and was gorgeous. However, the rest on the plate was disappointing i.e. A few slices of potato and a very small amount of salad. For the price it was not worth it and indeed hubby could of eaten it all again!! I feel the owner is still making a living out of his past and adds a few extra euros on the price for his fame! We visited this restaurant whilst on a recent holiday in Aguilas. It had been recommended to us by some friends and we weren't disappointed. The pastas and pizzas are really good but if you're a meat lover you just have to try the Argentinian steaks. They are fabulous tender and cooked to perfection in a garlic butter sauce. The best I have ever tried. The service was excellent Mrs Carlotta is so wonderfully attentive and incredibly happy all the time. Even without speaking the same language we managed to communicate with each other.If you are in Aguilas and like steak you MUST go here. We returned a few days later and I had the mixed grill which was just as good.
Right by the coast at Aguilas, this little unassuming restaurant , turned out to be a real gem. Whether or not you are a football fan you cannot help but be swept up in the ambiance of the place with memorabilia all around the inside restaurant area. There is also a lovely patio area. Menu choice was comprehensive and 4 of us found something different to delight. Very friendly and efficient service, and obviously a long established family business.. Steaks tasty, and perfectly cooked. Everything served and presented well. Highly recommended, we are so glad we found this place. We will be back again as soon as possible.
Real nice resturaunt with lots of Football Memorabilia to view. We sat inside due to it being a little cold. The terrace area however is very pleasant. Attentive service from the daughter of Carlotta. Wood fired BBQ heating up nicely as we enjoyed our drinks. We both had steaks and our ladies had the menu del dia at 12€. We also had a cheeky simple pizza just to try as a starter, mmmmm. Argentino steaks were perfect and real tasty (about 20€ defo worthwhile if you like your steaks. The best Argentinan steaks we have ever had! The staff only speak Spanish and we were made to feel very welcome. A family run business and the food and service were excellent. We ate outside but the boys went inside to view the football memorabilia and photos. They made a fuss of our young grandaughter and sat her on the bar, took her into the kitchen and taught her Spanish.
good food, of quality. Argentine family restaurant located in front of the beautiful beach of the colony. the host, a great fan of football, has the interior of the local well decorated with motifs of this sport, not only of Argentina, but of the whole world.
the best, without a doubt, the Argentinean bife, the best I have eaten (in fact we ate it with so much desire that it did not give me time to take the picture.) the squirrels were also very good and the pizzas were also good. the service, great.
