Not the Chili's of the old days for sure. This feels very much like a national chain restaurant too big for their bridges. Kind of story. I came here to have lunch with a pair of family members and was shocked to learn the thighs of the portions comparedto the pricing of the menu. Chili 's was not busy when our party of 4 arrived. There were plenty of open seats and not many dining there for lunch. It took 5-7 minutes to be greeted by a hostess and another 5-7 minutes to be seated. After being seated a waitress came a few minuteslater to take our drink orders. She brought the drinks about 10 minutes later. We ordered food when the drinks were delivered.The food was ok but the server did not refill drinks and was not very helpful. I went to Chili's grill and bar for Veterans Day and got a free meal of a hamburger and fries after grabbing a beer. Despite the crowded atmosphere, the service was still very quick. Chili's is always a great choice for a date or just a casual meal. The place was clean, including the bathrooms, and the staff was very friendly. During our time at the restaurant, there was constantly water on the floor near our table. When we alerted the waiter, all he responded with was "okay" and the water was never cleaned up. We ended up waiting an hour and a half and did not receive all of the food we had ordered. The dishes that did arrive were served cold. In addition, we had to request napkins and drink refills from the hostess as our waiter was seldom seen. Overall, it was a very unpleasant dining experience.
