This is your typical mom and pop restaurant. This is a once a week go to for me. I call so much that I know when to order on my trip home. The go to for my house is General Tso's chicken and on occasion I would order the Szechuan beef. The brown sauce on the Szechuan has a great flavor and you can order it to your spice level. The General Tso's also have a great sauce with very tender chicken bites that is just as great for lunch leftovers as the day it was served for dinner. The beauty of this place is that they reward you for purchasing. I am not sure what we will get as a specialty gift. Some days it is an extra egg roll and other days it is a specialty fried rice. The highest quality food in taste and cleanliness. You know a restaurant is good when you can literally taste how fresh and clean the vegetables are. China King 1 ranks right up there with Golden Ginger that used to reside in Elyria before they closed. Can’t get any better, and I’m already planning on going again ASAP. A

Bought beef fried rice and another side order.Fried rice was white rice with no flavor and beef had no taste. Have not been here for a couple years and it was good then. Could not even give to dog as it had onions in it. Disappointed at best.

Best Chinese food in Avon Lake. Their Vegetable Lo Mein is delish and the tofu is always perfect. Super affordable too. We can feed our family of 5 for under $20 and still have leftovers.
