Update My family and I went back to Cracker Barrel after being invited by the general manager to hopefully have a better experience. The service was prompt and they had us seated quickly and were very attentive. We had our drinks quickly, our food quickly, and it was hot. We didn't have to look for anything or ask for anything and the manager came out by the end to see how everything went. They were proactive with fixing the previous experience and had a great time. Definitely will go back as usual. My wife, her parents, and I went to cracker barrel as we routinely do for Sunday dinner to enjoy a good meal but it didn't turn out as planned. As a long-term patron and frequent traveler, we enjoyed the food in many cracker barrels. Tonight was one of the most beautiful. We experienced fast, friendly service and excellent food. It feels like an authentic American experience. As a Dutch guy I’m not used to (the size of) breakfasts like they serve at this restaurant. Let’s say you will not need any snacks until lunchtime. The waiter was really nice and helpful. We had breakfast at this place a few times during our stays. In my opinion the best thing I had was the Bacon n’ Egg Hashbrown Casserole.
Great place for food and history. The antic, rustic feel really adds to the atmosphere. Our server Daniqua forgive my spelling slim lady that had the tables to the corner did a fabulous job in taking care of us.
