The 1 star is for the wait staff who were lovely. The lack of stars is because of the inedible greasy food (that the owner refused to receive any constructive feedback on or remake even though the oil was literally dripping across the plate and still expected payment for even though it was awful and left on the plate). The mashed avocado was more ‘lemon to keep it fresh looking’ than avocado, the coffees my family members ordered were Luke warm and the owner was the rudest person I’ve ever met, who openly yelled at me telling me I should be happy to support small business and not complain. My partner ordered breakfast of champignon and it was fabulous. I ordered smoothie in a bowl and it was disappointing. It did not live up to the description. There was no granola, or dates (a couple of sultanas were substituted) and the fresh fruit consisted of some strawberries and mandarin. It was like they didn’t have adequate ingredients but made it anyway. It is a pity that this dish was so disappointing because everything else including coffees and fresh juices were very good.
Went in to order take away coffees and was denied service with rude barista saying he was too busy with orders and coffees would take 20 mins to make. I said I was happy to wait and he said he is refusing take away service today. Great way to make business turning paying customers away.
This cafe offers a very baby-friendly area where parents can take care of their little ones, alongside delicious food. There is a spacious backyard perfect for maintaining social distance or parking baby prams.
