Like JR from the book 'The Tender Bar ', I spent a good offer of my youth in a manhasset icon known as PUBLIC on Plandome Road... after more than 5 decades of life in Australia New Zealand (on and off! We were in the area looking for a place to eat. We were greeted at the door and were able to see the big table with the specials on them. Fortunately, it was meat night. Comfort Food was just what I was looking for. Good service, delicious food and I paired it with a guinness.
