After spending over $50 on supplies, I asked the staff for a simple visual guide on how much matcha to use for a latte. Kettl Tea is an absolute gem for matcha lovers. I tried both the iced and hot matcha, made with Uji and Yame varieties. The staff spoke Japanese, and they even have their own leaf grinder. They use Koatji oat milk, which combines koji rice and oats to provide natural sweetness without any added sweeteners. This was a refreshing change from other matcha spots in Manhattan and closely matched the high-quality matcha I make at home. I was really impressed and will definitely return.
