Immersed for dinner and was immediately seated by the hostess. After I had penetrated the menu, I chose the salad with ginger dressing. For sushi, the Rainbow roll is really good because if your new sushi, it has no fishy taste. Just pour a little soy sauce over it, add a pinch of Wasabi (Japanese horseradish that will wipe your sins but not burn like a Mexican pepper), and go your good! The duck was Hibachi Snapper and salmon with vegetables and fried rice The service was good at first, but then my server did not pass and removed the empty plates when more food was brought to the table. I am from a beautiful city in Florida and was used for many different and wonderful restaurants. Since the move to Princeton a year and a half ago, there has been a great change, as there are not many restaurants and the majority that are terrible here. I have been at least 10 times in Kimonos and it is always fast, clean and consistent. Staff are always very friendly and keep really good customer service. The sweet potato rolls and cucumbers avocado rolls are also always delicious! This restaurant is the next thing in Princeton I have found that the quality I was used in Florida. Keep it on Kimonos!
Kimonos is where you go when you want to have good Asian food but don't want to drive all the way to Christiansburg. It's pricier than the other local fare, but you do get better quality and better taste. I go here when i want good food, not cheap food.
Was our first time tried this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised how good it was. The food was fresh and tasteful. Our waitress was great and made sure that we had everything we needed and that our order was correct. Will definitely visit again.
