Very desappointing, very average food (limit bad for the vegetarian option). Restaurant very cold, it was windy that night and the heating really didn't do its job. The welcome OK but not specially warm (compared to the way some locals were received). Despite not being...vegetarian but pescatorian I could only take the vegetarian menu because of added things like veal in a lentil soup etc.., I love vegetarian food but it would anybody off to be served a pot au feu de légumes that way : undercooked veg in a bizarre reddish, tasteless broth. second stay in the did at this place, we were once again thrilled by the quality of this small hotel (4 rooms, absolutely quite space) , the restaurant is great, good food quality, they can visit the garden where sweet and friuis grow, unpredictable in view of the...River gironde. st christoly is about 70 km from airport bod (90 mn drive) they will cross the best wine places of medoc (margaux, st estephe, st. julien and many others) well received by the staff

We booked a room for the night, St Estephe overlooking the estuary- superb! Chose the chefs menu at 75 euros , completely faultless in London this would be a £600 dinner. Lovely service from an attentive team,lots of local produce and fab wine recommendation- both...the pork and the wine were from just down the road-very special place !
a lot of colors in the beautiful dressage plate. but the dishes not at all at the height of the visual! much too expensive for the quality of the plate! in 5 days alone disappointment! You will eat much better elsewhere in the region! Dumb service! I'm not recommending this restaurant!

the restaurant has a magnificent view of the river, unfortunately the lunch was not the quality we had in port medoc or pauillac in a caffe or restaurant for the half price. for this quality it was very expensive menu.
