La Promenade Patisserie

The staff here are lovely, the coffee is great and the cakes we had were perfect! It's a real 'feel good place' because the staff are so lovely and eager to ensure you have a nice time. I was thinking about writing a review as I walked out (because it was such a nice experience), then I noticed a lovely message above the door (as you walk out)....I think it said "Thank you for visiting, have a nice day." Then I thought they were even more deserving of a great review. It was a really nice touch and I felt like they really appreciated us being there. If you're in the area, definitely drop in here for coffee (or lunch), they are deserving of your $$$$

This is local secret,just opposite the beach.It has an excellent selection of cakes and pastries ,all at reasonable prices.The coffees and teas are good. However, it is very busy on weekends,and the staff get overrun, Its better on weekdays.

A visit to La Promenade is an indulgance - sheer decdance. Beautifully hand made pastries are to die for and the presenation is just magnificant. But do not dismiss the pies and sausage rolls. They too are to die for.

A wonderful array of cakes and pasteries.Only justifiable if you have just cycled 25 Km or more.Always noted for the cyclists who stop to indulge.

Plenty of parking across the street. Good friendly service, nice coffee with excellent well priced pastries.
