We were walking around Zurich in the evening (while it was still warm and light,) following a walking tour on the city map which we obtained from the hotel, and felt like a refreshing beverage.We hunted around for a bar that took our fancy, and settled on LaZoupa for it's ambiance, alfresco tables, and lack of smokers. We asked the gentleman who was in attendance if we could sit down just for a drink, and he invited us to do so. We got chatting to him, and it turns out he is from Mexico (the Cancun, Tulum area.) We are regular customers and truly love the cozy, warmth and unique experience to most other cafes in Zurich.Excellent combination of atmosphere and service which consistently make in place loved by many. It is like a home away from home with homemade soups, foccaica and classic cakes and desserts.We have also tried the Sunday Brunch and were so glad we did.If you have never been you should your missing out.Thanks so much
We were just walking past on a cold Zurich day and we're keen on some soup when a lovely elderly lady sitting outside, under cover invited us to join her. We did, we ate the soup, shared some beers and some stories and jokes with the nice lady.We came back later again and met the owner. Great people!

Each Thursday evening LaZoupa offers live LaZoupa Unplugged Music starting at 8pm. A wonderful place to grab some food and drink, socialize with guests and enjoy the terrace. A must see weekly.
