We went to lunch on Sunday fifteen days ago. When they arrived unreservedly but they welcomed us, gave us a quiet table and we participated in the meat cut despite the delay. The food was excellent 3 choices of meat, all well cooked vegetables, great puddings from Yorkshire APPROPRITED, a tasty sauce, cabbage cheese and recharges if you wish. No limits! The staff is very friendly, English and most customers were also English. A nice little welcome touch for us the expatrie (Epinay the Account is a small but pretty village, between Passais la Conception and Gorron, so easy to find and convenient to drive). This popular restaurant bar has established a great reputation for several years among the British (mainly) ex-patent customers, who come from far to enjoy a warm welcome, good service and excellent cuisine. During the two occasions we visited, we were perfectly satisfied with our experience. Ambiance bistrot de petit village des années 80 où se croisent les jeunes qui viennent boire un verre en terrasse, les familles avec enfants, et les retraités. Tenu par des anglais, on y croise beaucoup d'anglophones mais les français sont aussi les bienvenus. On n'y vient pas pour la nourriture, honnête et abordable, mais pour l'endroit, hors du temps. Et surtout on y revient.
A great place! The terrace is extra facing the church and the hydrangeas, the staff is adorable and the food is very good and cheap. What better do you ask? Perfect warm welcome, hearty dishes, hot served, pizzas are delicious very well garnished, I strongly recommend this establishment, cherry on the cake the English accent of the person who welcomed us is jovial. Keep on with good courage, good end of year 2021.
Have visited many times and always received a lovely welcome. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is always good and excellent value.
