Wir hatten eine fantastische Mittagsmahlzeit mit geschmortem Rindfleisch, Kartoffelpüree und gebutterten Karotten. Das hört sich einfach an, und ja, das war es auch, aber es war das Mittagsmenü und das geschmorte Rindfleisch war absolut himmlisch. Wenn ich die Bibliothek (Médiathèque) besuche, komme ich oft auf einen Kaffee und Kuchen hierher. Dort gibt es auch fantastische Kuchen, vor allem den Karottenkuchen und die Schokoladentorte, und es ist der einzige Ort, den ich in Sion gefunden habe, wo Ahorn- und Pekannusszöpfe serviert werden. Had a fantastic lunchtime meal of braised beef, mashed potato and buttered carrots - sounds simple and yes it was, but it was the lunchtime menu and the braised beef was absolutely heavenly. I often come here for a coffee and cake if I am visiting the library (médiathèque) - the also have fantastic cakes, especially the carrot cake and chocolate tart and the only place I have found in Sion where they serve maple and pecan plaits. The restaurant is situated inside the library, which is better than any municipal library I have been to in the UK, with a fantastic children's library at the back. The perfect place to spend a rainy afternoon with the kids.

very good meals original recipes in a quiet, and original setting. Fantastic architecture: renovated historic building. the former arsenals have been masterfully renovated. I have eaten several times with friends or children and the menus are varied, cooking is perfect, without chichis or too rich sauce! seasonal vegetables, parchment nets of Valais. Finally a real treat! Lovely and very caring for our well-being! I highly recommend!
I've only visited a few times but I can say it's one of my favourite places in Sion. Nice atmosphere and the staff are very kind and welcoming. Also the food is good and you can sit and read and have a dessert a coffee without anyone bothering you. Great place!
the restaurant (for social purposes and assistance in insertion) is located in the cantonal library, it is very nice and original. food is excellent, at reasonable prices. very nice service. Preferably book. to be recommended!
