Both myself and my partner work for the NHS. This place was offering a free pizza with your order, so we tried. We got our order but not the free pizza we had asked for which was clearly offered by them. My girlfriend rang to say no pizza had come expecting it to be an oversight. The guy was dismissive to her, made no attempt to apologise or correct the mistake they had made and rudely hung up on her. He then ignored further calls from her number. I rang from my phone and he was equally unwilling to correct things. The worst service we have received in a very long time. Have they changed management at this restaurant? I have not been satisfied with my last 3 visits. The delivery takes over an hour, the prices are too high for what you receive, and the portion sizes have decreased. Paying £1.80 for small fries seems excessive. The donner calzones used to be a favorite, but they now have very little filling and hardly any cheese, making them dry. At £6.50, they are overpriced. The cheese garlic bread is always overcooked, as well as the pizzas. I don't mind paying for quality food, but the last 3 experiences have been disappointing. Italiano, a nearby restaurant, is also overpriced with slow delivery. It's a shame.
I ordered here and received a cheesecake instead of a cheesy garlic bread. They also did not include the dips that I paid for. After speaking to the incredibly rude manager, they sent a 7-inch garlic bread instead of the 9-inch I ordered, but still did not include the dips. The manager was unhelpful when I tried to contact them by phone. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant and will not be returning.
Used Italiano for years and there calzones have always been better than the rest but had a period where they wasn’t as good as they was until now , they are back to there best , the order came fast and hot , the lady on the phone was great and rang me with a query which she sorted with no problem . The pizza at this restaurant is outstanding, one of the best I've ever had. The kebabs are also amazing, I love the way they package everything with the meat, salad, and pita bread all separated. This will definitely be our go-to takeaway from now on.
Appalling customer service. Waited 90m for a kebab and it was delivered without naan bread. Guy was incredibly rude and said I 'd have to wait for it to be delivered as he was very busy
Last pizza we had a soft base but burnt crust. Chips were under cooked. Yet the order we had before was faultless. Delivery is always the stated time but food is unpredictable
I had pizza and pasta from Italiano, very happy with it, pizaa had great taste. The pasta had rich flavour and was nice and warm when delivered. Will order again Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Be sure to check your change if buying from here. They like to short change you if they think you’ve had a drink! Done it twice to me now!
