Logan's Roadhouse Restaurant

*UPDATE* Mark (manager) immediately called me made this right! I truly appreciate his honest concern for the situation customer service in handling this... This truly meant a lot! Thank You Sir!! Before I start, let me say; I really really wanted to like this Logan’s. The waiter was a very nice young man. Now let’s talk about the food… We ordered the Fried Mushrooms; we sent them back. They were so oily soggy (as if they were fried in warm grease vs hot). My wife ordered the Surf Turf; the crab cakes were the same texture of the mushrooms, very oily soggy. Her shrimp were extremely over cooked rubbery. The rolls were good hot. I ordered the 12oz sirloin Medium well, it was cooked Well Done....

So I've been to Logan before and always thought they were just fine, was long time so could not remember the taste, but I have to admit they didn't disappoint. Everything was excellent. First, the ribeye was cooked exactly right, fine, perfect. My broccoli came after the photo, but when it came, I had exactly a few of the shrimps (the shrimp was excellent) with my baked potato with lots of butter that let my broccoli, rice, and some of my other shrimps absorb the juice from my steak, OMG, all taste so good. My waitress was a young lady named Brisa, she was just the most beautiful, friendly waitress I had ever done a great job for me. Logan is definitely a good choice.

This place has been hit or miss the last few years. Tonight was an ok night. The ribs were as dry as the Sahara, and the loaded pulled pork waffle fries were not amazing the cheese was not melted completely they left the ranch off and there weren't many fries, the baked potato was really good, the steak was mostly cooked correctly, green beans were good, the mashed potatoes had great flavor, and the rolls looked (and tasted) like they needed to be cooked a little longer. Stewart was really nice and a good server, when something was missing (gravy for mashed potatoes) he promptly got them!

Unfortunately this slab of ribs is headed to the trash! And that's unheard of with my carnivores! We ordered two slabs and both tasted as if they were parboiled, baked in the oven, and grill marks added for effect. No flavor and no smokiness whatsoever. So utterly disappointing!

Great time and service. Ajene was the best staff I had there. It was readily available and attentive to our needs. Oh, this watermelon margarita was on the spot.
