so. for a kick-off, this place has many potentials and is a very attractive and beautifully positioned place, right at the main train of the fair mile at henley on thames. good. that said the experience of our meal was less than satisfactory. The Golden Ball was a convenient location to meet a very dear friend. We had no idea what to expect but from the moment we arrived, we knew we had chosen the perfect venue. We received a very warm welcome with the friendliness continuing throughout...our meal. The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. It was worth the hours journey for the chips alone! We would not hesitate to recommend and would certainly return to explore the surrounding areas.
