Best lunch in Athens, hands down. Huge, filling salads with the yummiest pita bread ever and creative sandwiches are your main choices. The Big Salad is my favorite, it has everything but the kitchen sink in there roasted turkey, turkey bacon, olives, roasted potatoes, green beans, artichokes... all kinds of stuff is in there! Make sure you get the gazpacho if she has it on the menu, it's awesome! Marti is an attentive, sweet owner and she has created a beautiful spot to grab lunch.
The best food you will put in your mouth. I love her chicken salad and pimento cheese with the best homemade pita chips. I can’t get enough of her delicious southern sweet mint tea and you must top it off with her enormous poppyseed cookie or a chocolate brownie. Her restaurant gives you that come home southern feel. Absolutely the best.
I love the atmosphere! Clean, friendly and happy. Marti is always on site to meet and greet you. She loves Athens and she loves to make people happy with her delicious food. Best pimento cheese, hummus, pita chips..etc I could go on, in Athens. Amazing service, locally owned, fits all my criteria! It’s in my top 3 places in Athens BY FAR!!! A must!!!
