Patisserie Fur Elise

My recent afternoon tea at Patisserie Fur Elise was sadly disappointing, mainly due to the food quality, service, and atmosphere. The sandwiches, a central part of any afternoon tea, were notably underwhelming. The bread was dry, and the egg salad sandwich had very little filling, making each bite sparse and unappealing. The cucumber sandwich used hard bread that tasted like generic store-bought bread instead of fresh, artisanal bread. The tea service also left much to be desired. Our teas were mixed up, and the staff couldn’t clearly identify which tea was which, causing confusion. My first experience having afternoon tea at Patisserie Fur Elise was absolutely delightful. The setting was charming, featuring beautiful decor and a spotless environment. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel completely at ease. The teas offered were flavorful, and the sweets were wonderfully fresh. The savory dishes were outstanding too. My wife and I had a memorable time and will certainly be back.
