Pillings Boat-house

OK I want to mention the staff first because they were great! Makes a big difference when you feel warmly welcomed. I didn't get all their names but it was the staff serving Monday lunch time. There were 8 of us but our meals were served quickly! All of us agreed the food was a definite thumbs up!! 3 of us had fish and chips and the fish was fresh, crispy and huge! The restaurant is small but invitingly cosy with a lovely view of the canal. Lots of parking spaces too. Afterwards, a lovely kind Petra offered to help take some group photo's as it was my Mum's birthday. Thank you to all the staff including chef for a wonderful day! A MUST visit if you're in the area.

My fave breakfast/brunch spot. Delicious food, always have the veggie breakfast and it’s amazing! The staff are absolutely lovely, super friendly and polite. Highly recommend
