Restaurant Indien Suraj 15

Visited this week, Very quiet on entering , however there were people seated. No drinks menu offered but I didd see other people drinking alcohol. I ordered a Rogan Josh and Kheema paranta with Naan. The Naan bread and Parantha came much before the gravy dish and I had to wait. The kheema parantha wasnt up to the mark at all : it was just mince putty rolled into a parantha, The Rogan Josh and Biriyani was very good. I mentioned this to the cheif waiter on paying the bill, he agreed and said it had been a busy evening doing take aways thats why my parantha wasnt doen properly !!Bottom line : if the service is upped the food here is good enough

Me and my husband had lunch here and both had the 12€ menu.We started with onion bahji and pokoras. Followed by chicken tikka and vegetable curry with basmati rice each. All of this was delicious and filling. The quantity could have been larger but the taste was good and satisfied us anyways.The dessert wasn't the greatest. The menu came with a slice of an Indian cake (semolina and saffron which was served warm) or a slice of Neapolitan ice cream. We didn't like either of them but for the price it was worth it. The location is about 25 limited walking from the Eiffel Tower therefore away from any tourists traps.

We stayed in the hotel next to Suraj and visited the restaurant on Nov. 14--the day after the attacks. The waiter was very helpful in helping us find a seat in a comfortable location and the food and drink were perfect. My wife had the chicken tiki and I had the mouton rogan josh with nan and the dinner was as good as we'd had in India. They offer several prix fixe selections if you so choose. Two couples at our hotel went that night, also, and were also very satisfied with their dinners. Namaste!

I went here for lunch. The service is extremely slow, they did not even care about my questions and requests, which is disrespectful to the customer. The price is reasonable in Paris standards, however do not expect a delicious and satisfactory food. If you are really craving for Indian food and looking for "no spice" options , you can go here but I am sure you can find much better and similar priced ones. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Disappointment over the cheese nan that was almost not swamped but unfortunately it is a general observation of all the recently tested Indian restaurants... On the other hand, the other tasted dishes were excellent! Fin, a lot of taste and cooked to perfection

One of my favorite Indian restaurants, I've been going back regularly for 5 years and I've never been disappointed. Very professional and pleasant service. A lot of choices. I strongly recommend. And Khaba tea is excellent!

Service was very slow.!! Food was very good, worth the wait. Not recomended if you are in a hurry. Place is nice, and tables are not crowded.

We ordered two dishes and it is quite expensive, even though the quality of the food is not that great.

Welcoming, calm very clean. The kitchen is excellent.
