Shakti's - Tisch reservieren

I had a wonderful evening at the restaurant. I ordered the rigatoni, and let me tell you, when they say it's hot, they really mean it! The spiciness comes from cayenne pepper, which gives it a unique kick. I thought it was excellent, though I probably should have asked for a bit more cheese. My wife ordered the Pacific Coast crab croquettes, which she enjoyed. For appetizers, we started with the bruschetta and ciabatta bread—both were excellently prepared. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere was wonderful. I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion sizes; you definitely get more here than at many other fine dining establishments. I highly recommend trying the Manila clams as an appetizer; they are among the best I've had in quite some time. For my main course, I chose the twilight dinner featuring bolognese al forno, and it was excellent as well. I will definitely be back on my next trip to Washington.

We had a fabulous experience celebrating my partners birthday yesterday evening. Our reservation was at 7:30 pm (I had no idea that was closing time when I made reservation) and Javon was so gracious, friendly, and engaging with our group. The crème brûlée they served my partner was out of this world. Food and drinks were also delicious. This is definitely one of our favorite spots in town. Will be back soon. Two thumbs up.
