Shallot Thai Cuisine

Pleasant surprise. My wife and I had grown accustomed to really good Thai food in the town we used to live in. When we moved here we were disappointed at the lack of Thai restaurants in the area and with the Thai dishes the different Asian restaurants offered. Therefore we were both happy with our first experience with Shallots. I had the Panang curry and my wife the Massaman curry and we were both reminded of the restaurant we used to go to. The next test for Shallots will be the Pad Thai. If it passes that, then we can cross finding a Thai restaurant off our list.

From a Thai person, the food is delicious and well worth it, however, don't come if you're in a hurry. We waited over 30 for our drinks and an hour for our food : we definitely will return when in town, just will plan to preorder before we get there

Loved the soft shell crab tempura appetizer. Ordered seafood coconut soup but got the chicken coconut instead, though it tasted good so I didn't complain. Tamarind mango duck was delicious. They don't serve liquor.

The food was excellent, both in flavor and presentation. The service was also very good. They have a great selection of vegetarian options. I can't wait to eat here again.

The food was fantastic. I have never had Thai food before and I will certainly be back for more!
