we have booked shenanigans for the day after our high season. from the first contact with the family fiona greg we have a warm feeling and young have delivered them. the tapas buffet was beautifully decorated and tasty with local seafood, mini-burger, hot dogs, melone parma ham, beautiful homemade salad desserts champagne punsch at the arrival. and all excellent worth! D’arcie fiona we and all our guests as soon as they arrived and ensured that our needs were met. we had some musicians under our group and they were accommodated and groomed. unnecessarily to say a big singing followed and we sang great beer and enjoyed us well in the night ... fiona greg D’arcie her sister thought of everythi...
We travelled to this venue in Vias on day2 of the wedding party/celebrations. OMG what a meal. The owner prepared/cooked everything from scratch, using local materials and it showed. In particular, the Gazpacho and home made pate were absolutely gorgeous and I strongly recommend you...try them. Equally loved the local wines they served and had an idealic evening with my friends, followed by one hell of an irish trad music session (as we were lucky enough to have such gifted musicians among us not me I might add). every time I come here, it's amazing to eat. Portions are huge and always freshly prepared. prices are more than affordable. for example, tonight I enjoyed jacket kartoffeln with cream cheese and crispy speck filling and it was served with a fresh mixed salad and homemade coleslaw, all for only 5 euro. I couldn't finish my meal, there was too much.

If we visit Vias by motor cruiser we always call in a Shenanigans for a pint or two of Guinness. You can also get a great big Irish breakfast if your up to it. There are also English language books you can exchange on a shelf in the bar.
