My family is Middle Eastern, and this restaurant is one of our favorite places to go for high quality, authentic comfort food. The hummus is smooth and creamy, and the Turkish coffee is a must have. Try their unique loose leaf teas the pepper chai has a delightful little kick of spice! In addition to the amazing food, it's the wonderful people that keep us coming back. Kamal and staff truly treat you like family. St Paul is lucky to have this rare gem of a place with both great food and great people!
One of the best Mediterranean/Middle eastern restaurant in twin cities. The middle eastern server was so nice and welcoming he gave us free arabic tea and fries. I will definitely come back again here...try the falafel and be sure to be here for breakfast (close at 11 am) for some amazing food..oh and ask for the arabic hot sauce with your food !
Love this cafe! I've only been here twice but it's now my favorite place to eat. I adore the lamb bacon cheeseburger, it's one of the best burgers I've ever eaten (and I've had alot). The turkish coffee was also off the charts amazing! The staff is always courteous and helpful and the vibe of the place is very relaxed and down to earth.
I've never had bad food there, and I've been going there since it opened. The falafel is excellent, spicy, garlicy, but not greasy. Love the Chicken Shwarma too. And the cakes are beautiful. Going to Shish is always a treat.
