The Hotel Sonnengarten did not live up to its name during our stay. It rained almost constantly. Nevertheless, we felt very comfortable and recovered well. The location is very quiet on a side street, but you can quickly walk to the city center via Josefsweg. Our room faced the spa park and was absolutely quiet. The spacious, newly renovated room left nothing to be desired. Particularly noteworthy: The beds and mattresses ensured a restful sleep. The bathroom was a good size, but didn't have much counter space around the sink. The breakfast buffet was extensive and the food was tasty. Everything was there that you would expect in a 4-star hotel. What is missing is a unique selling point that...
Ich habe Weihnachten und Silvester im Hotel Sonnengarten verbracht. Meine Frau und ich waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Alles war liebevoll zubereitet. Das Essen war von bester Qualität. Ich habe nur einen kleinen Hinweis: Das Wasser im Badezimmer hatte eine angenehme Temperatur von 28 Grad, jedoch sind die Liegen nicht für ältere Personen geeignet. Als älterer Mensch kann man dort nur schwer wieder aufstehen. Hier sollte man arbeiten. Mal sehen, wie es bei unserem nächsten Besuch ist. Zimmer: 5
We regularly go to the restaurant there. Food and service simply great. Brunch is also highly recommended. The only drawback is that when paying by card you have to walk through the entire restaurant because it is only possible at the reception. We were in the Sonnengarten this weekend as a family of 6. We could enjoy a nice, quiet and relaxing stay. The child-friendliness and cleanliness throughout the entire house is very commendable. Ich war zum Jahresende dort für das bayerische Buffet. Das Essen war lecker, aber mit 38 € pro Person definitiv zu teuer! Leider war keine Kartenzahlung möglich, oder die Kellnerin wollte sich nicht die Mühe machen. Der Service, der uns zugewiesen wurde, war ebenfalls nicht wirklich freundlich oder zuvorkommend.
