South Maroubra Hot Bread

This has got it be one of the best bakeries in maroubra. They serve the most delicious and fresh chicken and pork rolls I have ever had, not to mention their CRIPSY pork rolls. Absolutely delicious and I would definitely recommend everyone to come and try this place. They also have beautiful sweets such as Vanilla slices that are to die for. Downside is that they only accept cash, but can cash out from Woolworths. Great experience and great customer service. 10/10 and would come again.

Bahn Mi rolls are way too overcrowded less is more with these I find. Rolls need to be crispy for them to be authentic theirs are disappointingly soft. They bake them onsite so how hard can it be?! Service is surly, place looks dubiously dirty out back (might be wrong), coffee is **** and they don’t take cards?! What kind of business is cash only these days?..

This is a bread shop. They make typically available Bread and loaves. They do cakes as well. There is nothing special about these. However, their Vietnamese rolls are excellent. The crispy pork roll is only available on weekends, but it is superb and cheap. The coffee is good too.

South Maroubra charges the same excessive $8 as Lexington Place. It might have been better due to the crusty roll but the insides were poor very gristly pork and congealed pate and generally very stingy, resulting in a very thin roll.

The place is ok, not bad not great. Its handy if your in the area for a quick roll. Not somewhere I would go to specially.
