Nice surprise! My wife and I visited Gramado and wanted to taste some of the local Brazilian German cuisine. We ordered the German sampler and were NOT released! It was perhaps not 100% authentic Bavarian, but it was 1. very tasty and 2. we had more food (grain, potato pancakes, potato salad, 5 different types of pork, apple sauce, sauerkraut etc. as we may have needed what was done for a great second meal: I also heard great things about their fondue, so next time we have to try in Gramado. Very recommended for everyone with a great appetite.
While i was on vacation in Brazil(from Canada) i decided to try this place, and i was not disappointed! The fondue was incredible and there was so much food brought to the table! It was not what i was used to, they bring you raw meat and you cook it your self at the table on a hot stone that they also bring to your table. But it was a very enjoyable experience and the food was delicious. The chocolate fondue they bring for desert was one of the best deserts I've ever had. This was the best meal that I've had in a long time.
They offer better prices if you pay in cash. The fondue sequence is amazing, try the stone version, the meat is cooked in a stone instead of hot oil. It may be hard to park and you may need a reservation.
