in any case the best meal I enjoyed in taunton. while the ambiente is more gastro-pub, eating is fine. we both started with the tempura soft shell crab. my wife then chose the cod while I had the bokong gay (a house speciality). then we shared the caramelized pineapples for the desert. all washed with excellent weeping through the glass. the personal was charming and knowledgeable and the whole evening was the most beautiful. we're coming back.
Very glad we visited The Bank for a saturday night dinner with friends. The food was excellent, cocktails good and service attentive and friendly.
