We had dinner with ten other friends here, and the meal was delicious! Both my hubby and I had the Claim to Fame fried chicken dinner. He also ordered the fried deviled eggs. These deviled eggs were amazing!! Never had anything like it, and you probably haven 't either! You HAVE to try these (if you like deviled eggs . SO good! The fried chicken dinners were very good as well. The batter was crisp and the meat was juicy. What else can you ask for? Oh...the seasoning was perfect too! The chicken was the star of the plate. Went here for the first time to celebrate my birthday and was amazed with the food. The food is DELICIOUS, the service was great and ambiance tasteful. Go for the whole experience and try a bourbon cocktail and one of the amazing desserts. Definitely a gem of a restaurant and look forward to returning My only criticism is that while the serving staff were great do not expect a warm welcome from the hostess. From the time we arrived until we left any encounter with her was icy. Do not let this deter you though the food is worth the visit.
Got lucky with a last minute reservation for dinner recently. We had the best restaurant dinner we have had in years!! One fish special and one beef menu item. So much flavor! Also had so many bourbons to try from, it was great. Service was very friendly and good! Ambiance was nice but there was a large party there that was extremely loud but that is not the restaurant fault. We also had a dessert and that too was very good. Looking forward to going back.
This place was simply amazing from the ambiance inside of the jazz music playing, our waitress has some great recommendations. The Chef was kind enough to send a sample of ice cream and the fried chicken was some of the best I ever had.....definitely a must if you in the area, and we will be going back.
