The kitchen staff here are very good, and we enjoyed a very tasty meal, that was prepared in very short time. However, the front of house staff were very disorganised. We were told we couldn't have food, before they even checked to see if we had booked, which we had, and the place was empty anyway. We had to ask to get our table cleaned, we were then coated in cleaning spray as it was a windy day, we then put in a food order at our table, we then were told to go and put food order in at bar, we then were asked for table number, so I walked back out to look for it but there wasn't one. It was soooo disorganised it was quite comical, but the food was really good. So no big deal!
This is an outstanding pub that warmly welcomes visitors with dogs. The staff is incredibly friendly and greeted our furry friends with a tasty treat. We enjoyed sitting in the sunny, spacious garden. Ordering was a breeze thanks to the QR code system, which made it convenient to manage everything while tending to our dogs. Our food arrived promptly and was served with a smile. I would highly recommend this pub to anyone in the area.
It was a nice Lunch.. although my roll was a little dry. The pie my friend had was delicious. The service was quite good, although our waitress did forget to return with sugar! Lol The manager came round and chatted which was nice. The place was busy as half term. It was pleasant over all.. thank you …
beautiful environment to sit inside. sat outside tonight, beer garden chairs were comfortable, great beer. desserts were presented wonderfully and well flavored. some of the best chips! the staff was helpful and attentive. great pub.
