we had booked a table for 18:30 on Tuesday, but also on an off-peak day/time was the place immaculate. the waiting staff were very pleasant and helpful, even asking for all allergies that may require changes to our eating. the first cure was an amuse bouche of coronation chicken on crostini, which was a nice little tasty. starter, we ordered the artichoke salad and the area. the area was really fleshy and tasty, like the wobble chutney that accompanies it. the salat was shameful and really tasteful. mains, we both ordered the same thing that the pork belly was with black pudding and datum stuffing, rosmarin thymianmash and a sausage and beans-collectulet. that was absolutely delicious. we ro...
was outside to celebrate, my wife birthday and could not have asked for a better experience. had received a few drinks at the bar before going to our table and excellent service from the barman and I am pleased that this continued with our server. there is a 2 hours turnaround on tables, but we were allowed to sit on and enjoy them a few more cocktails as the bar was busy. good food and good value for money will definitely be back.
when I eat intolerances, it is quite difficult, so if I was looking for somewhere in the city center of glasgow, I came somewhere on a advertisement a fodmap friendly menu decided to try it. so glad that we did it! had a nice eating without need to worry about what I was eating endless asking to the staff/chef. it was all on a FODMAP menu. really impressed is definitely back. well made people for catering for us 'intolerant ' lot!
lunch in the atlantic bar and the brasserie at a lunchtime lunchtime. had half the Rotisserie chicken with sides of roast, honey glazed vegetables and a part of fries. very nice, hearty eating. service attentive and all in a pleasant environment with a nod on glassgows empire exhibition.
