"I've eater here 6-7 times and I am never disappointed. For dinner in Ganges this is in my top two picks. The kitchen is in the middle of this small restaurant so you can watch them - the chef is the owner - prepare your food from scratch. And they do. The result isn't a fast meal ever but it will be delicious, cooked to meet your preferences and beautifully plated. My husband has their Saltspring Island Lamb about every second visit and he loves it. I usually have the seafood; whatever is fresh. My Mom tried the crab cakes this time (it's an appetizer but big enough for a small appetite) and she loved it. Desserts are large enough to share. The chocolate cake is our family favorite. This isn't a waterfront restaurant; no view from most seats so you need to be able to relax and enjoy your beverage while making conversation with your partner or company. You're going to wait a bit for your meal - and it will be worth it - so this is not a place for a quick bite. Decor is simple and tasteful. It is a relaxing dining experience in a laid-back town."
