"We happened to Le Saloon purely by accident were driving for several hours one Sunday and realized that apparently, the vast majority of places were close. As we still had several hours to go, we needed some food. Passing by St Etienne du Bois, saw Le Saloon, with the terrace quite full of people. As we didn´t have many other options, decided to give it a try. Didn´t expect much, just some very ordinary plain food to fill up before long drive. We both were stunned when saw our the huge, very cheesy and nicely crusty pizzas. The topping was very generous, dough thin and nicely baked. Just really really delicious. I wouldn´t have ever imagined I´d say I had one of the best pizzas ever in the random roadside place in a random French village. Apparently, this is what happened. The service was friendly and efficient. Though we were looking just to grab something, we ended up with a really good dinner. Though it´s questionable whether many of the TA readers would be looking for suggestions in St Etienne du Bois, I just felt I had to share this excellent experience we had :"
