"Disclaimer: I 'm related to the owners, but I still think that my review will be quite objective (they didn 't ask me to write it), and maybe helpful for English-speaking tourists. El Polígono is a family run churrería , or specialised café where they make churros. You usually have churros with hot chocolate (served a lot thicker in Spain than in the UK or the US) or a caffelatte. Actually, they make both churros (tear-shaped and thinner) and buñuelos or porras (cylindrical and with a larger cross-section), but let 's just call everything churros for convenience. They make the churros fresh every day on the premises. This involves making fresh dough at 5am or 6am, and then frying the churros on demand throughout the morning. This is quite different from most cafés, where they don 't have the special fryer, and have to buy them pre-made, and serve them re-heated, which makes them soggy and too chewy. True churrerías like El Polígono are less common, but the product you get is much better. The hot chocolate is also very nice, because they use a very good quality chocolate brand. Here you are going to get a genuine experience. A nice small venue, off the town centre, where the locals go for their breakfast. The service is also very friendly (although I may be biased in that, because they are my relatives, as I said above)."
