"I looooove this place. My favourite is the spicy chicken sujebi (i prefer sujebi over kalguksu) and my partner loves the anchovy and kimchi sujebi. The bowls are massive, flavour is perfect and the noodles are cooked to perfection. The 2 ladies there remind us of our halmoni's (grandma) cooking back home. Will continue returning to this amazing restaurant!"

I've been going here for years now and I feel bad reviewing now. But this restaurant deserves five stars because of how consistently good their food is. Pre covid and covid times. Whenever I crave kalguksu or sujebi, I only think of Son Kalguksu. Food: I shared a spicy chicken kaljaebi (kalguksu/sujebi and a little neck clam kaljaebi with a friend. The broth is AMAZING and rich for the spicy chicken and really clean and light for the little neck clam one! They also give HUGE portions so be ready to stuff yourself. I suggest if you want to share with someone, have both at the same time. Truly a great combo: the side dishes are amazing too. Atmosphere: A VERY tiny place. Only seats a few peopl...

This bowl of korean chicken noodle soup is exactly what I needed on this blistering winter evening. The intimate restaurant is run by cute Korean aunties and offers an array of knife cut noodle bowls. Posted up on the wall is a menu of all the different noodles. You can choose to get it with hand torn dough (soojaebi) or noodles (kalguksu)...or both (kaljaebi). Soojaebi is similar to American dumplings; basically thin pieces of dough in soup. I ordered chicken kalguksu and my boyfriend ordered kimchi soojaebi. Both were steaming hot and delicious! The broth was flavorful and perfectly seasoned. Portions were decently large. I was very full after eating it all. You also get complimentary banc...

I was and am still looking for a good kalgooksoo place in NJ. This was good but It can't beat Arirang in Flushing. The portions are not as BIG as other reviewers stated, maybe it changed after COVID. I was still hungry. I should have ordered the steam dumplings. It's a tiny place where, kinda quiet and I ordered the seafood noodles and it didn't have quite the deep broth of seafood as I had hoped. The kimchi noodles my other half ordered was as expected ... good because their kimchi was good. I would go again if I am in the area and I haven't found another alternative by then. PS. Prices have gone up

IMPORTANT! It's not about food. We've been here in November 2020 in the middle of pandemic. They were making dumplings without mask and serve the food without mask or gloves. They were friendly but I felt uncomfortable that they were talking to my baby with no mask. There's other customer right next to our table(it's very tiny 3 table only restaurant). No social distance at all. We might want to go in the future when works is all safe but I don't even want to take out here now. They cook without mask and gloves and cane out to take payment with bare hand. STAY SAFE everyone!
