Unfortunately, we experienced daily power outages during our stay, resulting in no heating, water, or electricity. The downstairs bathroom, where my parents were staying, had no running water for the duration of our visit. This forced them to use blankets and the reception toilets for washing. A plumber was called but did not come during our stay. As hosts of luxury properties ourselves, we understand that issues can arise, but a property of this size and age should have a generator as a backup, especially in winter. Georgia and Jason's wedding celebration at this restaurant was truly fabulous. The event was very emotional, but also filled with joy. The staff were always helpful and attentive. The only issue I encountered was the lack of anti-slip mats in the bathrooms. I slipped while taking a shower, but fortunately managed to keep my balance. However, it is recommended to have anti-slip mats to avoid any accidents. Despite this, we had an excellent time and I want to extend my thanks to the staff.
Beautiful house and atmosphere, the rooms are really nicely decorated and the grounds are just so well kept. I loved the menu the cannelloni is highly recommended! The staff are all very attentive and friendly, we had a wonderful meal here and drinks by the fire afterwards. I can't shout about this place enough. Fantastic staff and setting, attending weddings here has been a joy. Excellent place, fabulous food and beautiful well kept house and rooms, couldn't be better!!
The country mansion was absolutely lovely and perfect for a small to medium sized wedding. The staff were exceptional and went above and beyond to accommodate us.
