Their ambitious menu fails to deliver the expected quality of food. In these challenging economic times, spending money on subpar food feels rather disrespectful. It’s disappointing for a microbrewery to pair such excellent beer with such poor pub food. I suggest simplifying the menu and focusing on serving the best burgers alongside the beer, rather than offering overpriced, disappointing meals that don’t reflect the effort put into their beverages. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously. You have great beer; please work on improving your food offerings to match that quality. Our group of 10 dropped in for beer and lunch and we’re readily accommodated in a back section. The decor and ambiance is amazing. Our server, Perseus, was so personable and attentive to all, making sure that everyone’s drink orders were promptly taken care of and very knowledgeable in his recommendations. Lunch order was delicious, most everyone had something different and the menu selections made it hard to decide! Will definitely be back next time we are travelling in this area! I had a great time at this restaurant. Just to warn you, they don't have a fryer so no fries! This was a surprise for us.My server was nice but the management was not so great. The server accidentally asked what side we wanted with a sandwich. When it came time to get the bill, they charged us extra for the side. When we asked to leave out the extra cost, the manager refused because they said it was clear on the menu that the sandwich didn't come with a side. Be sure to read the fine print!Aside from that, the food and craft beer was great and they had 3 vegan options!
The atmosphere was great, but the music was quite loud, making it necessary to raise our voices to converse with the people at our table. The food was tasty, but it felt a bit overpriced. I understand that prices are rising everywhere, but I believe that when you order a sandwich, a side should be included instead of having to pay an extra $7 for a small bowl of mac and cheese. Our total bill came to $170 for four people, and that didn't even include dessert.
This brew pub has everything you could ask for! The beer is fantastic, and the food is delicious. The staff creates a wonderful atmosphere. We requested a quiet table for a family gathering, and they provided us with the back room, which was perfect. The service was excellent throughout our visit. We always take our guests there for a meal.
This place is a gem in gorgeous downtown Brockville. Large menu, which is rare at a brewery. Great selection of beers too! Fantastic ambience, even better service! We enjoyed a couple of flights with our meals, and for fun we rated our least favourite to favourite brew and enjoyed a pint for dessert! Highly recommend the potato salad!
Cody made us feel very welcome. Service was really good and the pizza was delicious. Loved the cocktails too.Dietary restrictions: My boyfriend is a coeliac and we were so impressed that he could have the pizza. It was made with a cauliflower base ... absolutely scrummy.
The food is fantastic and very filling. The staff, friendly and extremely helpful and attentive.Sadly my only complaint, they do not have fries to offer.I’ll still go back. But please put them on your menu!!!
Definitely worth a visit. I travel to Brockville a few times a year and 1000 IBC was recommended to me. This was my first visit. Great atmosphere, the food selection was good and beer was just want I needed.
