Initially, we wanted to go to Louise 's Kitchen for breakfast. However, upon discovering they had a line out the door at nine o 'clock on a Monday morning, we said, Fuck that. Therefore, we went next door to Foothills Butcher Bar, which was a great decision as I enjoyed their breakfast and clean ambiance. We had stayed in Black Mountain that weekend, and I wanted to go to one more restaurant spot before driving back onto the highway. Being in downtown Black Mountain, there are more than a couple of places to enjoy breakfast, and Foothills is a solid casual one. We just had the most beautiful drive to Asheville and we were looking for somewhere outside and safe to eat. So we drove around the town of Black Mountain and found this charming little sort of deli restaurant with take out only, attached to a butcher shop. I think they do barbecue too on some nights. There were masks and hand sanitizer outside before you walked in. Dave ordered the Rueben with fries and an IPA. I had the little Cheeseburger with a side salad. Both were ample and fresh made and brought to us outside, where were seated on a covered patio. The place is extremely clean and everything is wiped down. The two of us came here for breakfast on a Saturday morning and split a special which was essentially a breakfast hash bowl with potatoes, sauteed onions and peppers, beef, gravy, and two eggs cooked any style. We also split the Butcher's Biscuit (choice of bacon, country-fried steak, chorizo or breakfast sausage, a fried egg, and melted cheese) which was only $6. Service was pretty slow which was my only initial concern, but they also gave us only one egg instead of the two that were supposed to come with our breakfast hash bowl. However, the food was yummy (especially the chorizo), coffee was good, and the portions and prices were just right.
This has always been a fan favorite for a long time! This is the first time we've every had brunch there though! Funny enough, we chose a dish that has no meat in it and it was AMAZING! The farm fresh Benedict has spinach, the most lemony hollandaise sauce, and the perfect English muffins. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the service was impressive even during the busy Sunday brunch rush. They served a group of nine with delicious breakfast sandwiches. I enjoyed the egg, bacon, and cheese on ciabatta, topped with homemade herb aioli. We dined outside on the patio, enjoying a lovely breeze. Everything was fantastic! Would love to rate 5 stars and will gladly change this rating if they update their menu or cooking oils. Menu says 'Tallow Fries ' yet they 're cooked in a blend that includes GMO Soybean oil! Everything says Honest Meats and Keepin ' It Honest , yet they 're not honest about that! Love coming here, but at least be honest with your customers.
I love this place. It has a great atmosphere the food is finger licking good! This place is pet friendly the staff are amazing. We eat here as often as we can. You and your pets can just sit back here enjoy the amazing burgers!
The signage is unclear, and the website listed a latte for $4.50, but upon arrival, it was changed to $5.50 for what looks like a 6 oz cup. The latte itself was good, but their meat prices seemed unreasonable. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
