Wir haben State am vergangenen Wochenende entdeckt und waren angenehm überrascht. Großartige Lage, direkt am Platz. Das Vibedeco des Raumes hat uns sehr gut gefallen, sehr warm und einladend. Als wir ankamen, war niemand an der Rezeption, also mussten wir eine Weile warten. Letztendlich kam ein Server vorbei und checkte uns ein und setzte uns. Die Speisekarte ist nicht umfangreich, aber das Pastagericht und der Schweinefleischragu mit Bohnen und Burrata waren gut zubereitet und schmeckten großartig. In der Nacht, in der wir waren, hatten sie Prime Rib, aber schon früh waren sie draußen. Schöne Entdeckung, da wir immer nach neuen Restaurants rund um den Platz suchen und auf jeden Fall wiederk...
This was a refreshing surprise. We have been coming to Madison since 2014 to visit one or another of our kids attending UWMadison. I had never heard of 107 State before and thought we would give it a try. It is right on State (obviously) by the piano bar which is such an accessible, walkable location. It is smaller but comfortable and not loud which I love. The food was great we had the steaks and the prime rib specials. I would rate that as one of the best steaks I have had and the wine selection was small but decent. I found a really nice red. I will be going back!
Servers were very accommodating and nice. Ran out of the wine we tried to order. Husband‘s burger was requested med well and came out rare. Pasta dish was nothing special. Mascarpone cheesecake was delicious. Crostini and wings were fabulous.
Jedes Gericht war sehr lecker! Der Service war ausgezeichnet. Wenn der Kellner mit anderen Tischen zusammen war, kümmerte sich der Barkeeper immer noch um die Gäste. Sie waren ein ziemliches Team. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen

Went in here once on a whim. While looking at the menu outside, someone walking in said it 's great, try it. So we did, and now have gone 3 times and will continue to do so. Excellent food, tasty cocktails, and friendly service!
We had an amazing experience and Jen was wonderful and helpful. She was able to recommend a wonderful beer that I had never tried. The pasta ala vodka was my favorite part of Madison.
The place is nice and the service was wonderful and attentive.However, the bottom of each of our bruschetta was burnt and so was (part of) the pork chop.
We had one issue with our food that was remedied immediately super service and awesome food been there twice and will continue to go
