After flight delays when returning home internationally, our ride arrangement fell through. We went in here with a great deal of luggage at midnight, to wait for a family member to come pick us up. We were thankful for their 24 hour service!! They secured our luggage in a closet, and we were able to be seated at the bar. It was a lively place even at midnight, with large parties coming in to dine well after midnight. The service was good enough. The food was okay as expected for how busy they were.
Additionally, one of the coins on our table was an Islanders coin, which might be an indication of some underlying issues. The girl with the red hair could definitely perform better at the front desk instead of accidentally pouring water into our Sprite, which she did for one of my guests. Lastly, I observed four broken plates on the floor during my visit. Breaking plates isn’t a good sign, and if it keeps happening, it could bring bad luck. Please address these issues to enhance your service.
I had the worst experience with both the food and service at this restaurant! The food was excessively salty, making it inedible. When I mentioned it to my server, she didn't show any surprise. Her response was that sometimes the food is cooked with salt, and then another person in the kitchen adds more by mistake. She did offer us a free dessert, but we were still charged for both of our uneaten meals, which were overpriced to begin with. I will not be returning!
I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, and the portion sizes were generous. I visited for breakfast and was seated quickly, with attentive service throughout my meal. The ambiance of the restaurant is more upscale than your typical diner, featuring private booths as well as an open area with traditional seating. Wow! I didn't have high expectations for this tiny spot, but I was blown away by the food. We started with the steak bites, and the sauce was both delicious and spicy. I ordered the prime rib dip, paired with French onion soup, while my mom enjoyed the perfect onion rings. My sister opted for the Wagyu burger, which was fantastic as well. To top it all off, they treated us to a delightful sundae in honor of my mom's birthday. I'll definitely be returning!
I visited for breakfast on November 12, 2023. I was seated promptly, but it took 40 minutes for my food to arrive, and it was cold. The waitstaff didn’t check on me at all during my visit. I eventually had to ask a busser for the check, and although it arrived, nobody came to collect it. I had to find another employee to handle my payment. After a long day at work, there's nothing quite like finding a bar that knows how to make an amazing dirty martini, especially during happy hour! They serve fantastic drinks, delicious snacks, and the prices are very reasonable. Plus, the venue is wheelchair accessible. Service was top-notch, and I enjoyed my meal there. On average, you can expect to spend between $30 and $50 per person.
This used to be my favorite place to go but the staff has gotten lazy and no respect for guests! Just walked in and there were at least 10 open seats at the bar, and being only one person I was told it would be over 30 minutes to be seated! Absolutely ridiculous!
