My daughter and I took my wife to 147 recently for her birthday.Had heard good things about the restaurant and enjoy Italian food. Was not disappointed in any way. Friendly, polite service. Excellent presentation and very tasty.House wine was well priced and the ladies said it was very good. Would not hesitate to return.
Caesar salad was delivered with brown and rusty romaine. We complained and replacements were no better. Lasagna was delivered warm. Requested to heat it up but instead a replacement came over 10 mins later. By that time the rest of the group had mostly finished dinner. Very disappointing experience. We won't be back!!

We have been trying to find time to go since it opened; well last night we did.We ordered the mussels, caesar salad, caprese salad and the special which was a apple chutney covered pork chop.Everything, especially the service was top notch. Went for dinner with friends. Service was outstanding, appetizers were very good. The steak was great, put the mashed potatoes were out of this world.The deserts were fantastic. This is definitely a do again.Fat Chris rates this out of five thumbs up!!!!
We tried 147 July 27th for a last minute date night. Both my husband and I enjoyed everything (seafood pasta and the chicken parmesan). Our entrées were delicious, the atmosphere was great. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
What a quaint little restaurant! Awesome food and service. Prices are very reasonable and this little gem is close to the waterfront. Ask for John! he is an awesome server and easy on the eyes ;)
First visit to Downtown Bay Area, 147 came highly recommended. No disappointment....great service, excellent pasta, and wait staff went the extra mile to find a wine of my liking. We will return. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
We've been here many times and have never been disappointed. The wine is great, the food is spectacular and the service is the best in Barrie. Definitely recommend for a night out or date night
