When we arrived at the restaurant, we were offered a different menu at £18.50 per person. I tried to explain the online price, but they insisted the menu price was correct. Unfortunately, my partner's soup was only warm and his steak was too rare despite ordering it medium rare. The food was promptly taken back to the kitchen but took a long time to come back. By the time it did, I had already finished my salmon meal, which I found delicious.
The dessert also took a long time to arrive, and for most of our meal, we were the only two people in the restaurant until a small party arrived for a buffet. Although the staff apologized for the mistakes with the meal, they did not offer any compens...
Chester was brilliant, plenty of shops , restaurants and things to do. The hotel was very central and right in the city Center. The staff were very nice, helpful and friendly. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The fire alarm went off early morning although we were woken up the staff acted appropriately so obviously were trained in fire procedures. The steakhouse restaurant was closed so a bit disappointing. The service at breakfast was very poor, the staff immediately came to us for our tea and coffee order but we never received it and had to ask 3 different staff for our drinks we sat there for 25 minutes before getting a drink. The meal was OK but that’s about all.
I had meal here with my wife in march when a new menu had just been introduced and it was excellent. My wife's fish was the best she'd ever tasted and my lamb was delicious. Friendly staff and a nice bottle of wine made for a very pleasant evening.
The restaurant was empty apart from us, but we waited half an hour for the food. The sandwiches were a bit dry around the edges, the scones were abit dry as well but all the cakes/pastries were nice.

After attending one of the Algebra seminars on a Tuesday, we decided to dine at this restaurant because the speaker was in the mood for Spanish cuisine.
This restaurant has an excellent menu full of high quality food, the steaks are recommended and when staying the breakfast is superb.
This Spanish restaurant serves up delicious, authentic dishes. The wait staff is very friendly and the ambiance is wonderful.
