After searching on trip advisor and liking the looks of the restaurant we booked a table online only 2 hours before. We requested a window table as the views on the pictures looked amazing. On arrival we were greeted and shown to the table. The waitress was so helpful as the whole menu is in french (obviously) but she was currently learning English and trued her up most to help us. She English was very good and so was so polite too.The food then arrived after an unlimited amount of bread (great). we began with starters which tasted amazing and went down a treat. we then progressed onto the mains, we both has steak with Stilton sauce which was the best i have ever tasted, i still dream of it...
Dinner as a family on the terrace with stunning views over the lake. After a really refreshing cocktail with brilliant little homemade "crostinis", green olives tapenade and fresh goat's cheese, I had a daurade tartare, followed by a carré d'agneau cooked to perfection and a VERY VERY tasty, velvety jus. Everyting was fresh and cooked to order. I was also impressed by the wine list: varied, with a lovely selection to suit all tastes, and a number of good wines by he glass. We chose a very nice bottle of 2006 Volnay. The service was very friendly, efficient and professional without being fussy. A very nice place. I think the very good reviews are well deserved.
I went yesterday for lunch with 3 of my friends. It was very hot outside but we still requested to eat on the terrace. Even thought the inside of the restaurant offers a wonderful view, we truly loved sitting under the red voile surrounded with greenery.The food (I am a vegetarian) was home made, local and delicious.The wine list also offered very fine wines, both local and national.And on top of that, the waitress was lovely.Very nice restaurant with a view in Thonon, which makes a change from the low quality food restaurants by the port.
Home more than friendly in this very fine restaurant. We were able to book the day before by internet which is very convenient for foreigners who can not necessarily call. A selection of non alcoholic cocktails or as an aperitif. Gourmet cuisine in ideal amount with good products, the restaurant offers a very good typical French cook, . Highly relevant advice on the wine list. An institution very accommodating to change a dessert for example. an ideal restaurant for a head to head.Beautiful view on the lakeWe recommend !

We went here for an evening meal, looking over the lake and it was lovely. The atmosphere was amazing and the lady who was servicing us was so attentive! Our French was great and so she took time to explain the menu and talk us through all the food. The food was amazing! would definitely go back!
Was there with my wife. We had a very nice time on the patio enjoying the sun. Menu is very good, service OK and good quality of the ingredients. Nice place to have a wonderful time enjoying the lake view.
we loved the fresh fish which was delicious. the service was perfect no complaints. there is a beautiful view of the lake is beautiful. we recommend çe restaurant for the quality of its dishes.
Lovely place to sit and delightful staff. Not a huge choice but very varied. When we had waited for over an hour for our food they gave us a little taster and a free top up of our drink!!

do not joke with the inputs or small plates other than to save time. the best paella up your hand on the floor.
