I had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The restaurant has a unique atmosphere, and our guide, Adam, really enhanced our visit. The food was cooked to perfection, and we were quite particular about how we wanted it prepared. The waiter was patient and attentive to all our requests, even for French fries that weren’t on the menu. When they arrived, they exceeded my expectations, being perfectly crispy and not at all dry. We started with beef tartare and then moved on to the perfect steak. The restaurant offers an incredible selection of Alberta beef that is truly impressive. The desserts are just as stunning as they are delicious, making for a delightful ending to the meal. Enjoy!
I had a fantastic experience from beginning to end at this restaurant. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the food is truly delicious. Our server, Alysha, was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. Every dish, from the appetizers to the desserts, was delightful. Since my brother mentioned that it was my birthday, they even prepared a special dessert for me, which was a lovely surprise. I highly recommend this place; the meat is outstanding, and the steak I had was the best I've ever tasted. I would rate it 5 out of 5 for the service, food, and ambiance.
We had a fantastic dining experience at the chop house. From the champagne and sparkling wine tasting to the beautifully crafted dessert, everything was delightful! Our server was very friendly, and we even talked about our favorite cooking shows while discussing wine pairings and the chef's dedication to regional ingredients. The atmosphere was enhanced by the decor and the stunning view of the mountains from our table. Overall, it was an outstanding dining experience!
We had an excellent jubilee dinner at 1888, just like we always do. Cory was attentive and made fantastic recommendations for both the menu and the wine list. We decided to try his suggested cabernet, and it did not disappoint! It paired wonderfully with the bone-in ribeye, which is generous enough to share. We truly appreciate the quality of service and the menu at 1888, and we look forward to our annual dinner here.
We celebrated our 10th anniversary here and couldn't have chosen a better place. The food was amazing, our server Nicholas was exceptional, and the entire experience exceeded our already high expectations. I can't recommend this place enough!
Very cool seeing our dinner start with a wine cart offering for selections of sparking wine. Food was fantasic and you certainly get what you pay for. They brought me horseradish upon request. Awesome experience. I will be back.
